Design and Build Quality
We’ve got our hands on the Redmi Note 13 Pro, and we’re impressed with its design and performance. The phone feels premium in the hand, thanks to the metal frame and glass back with a matte finish. Bonus points for the side-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone is not too heavy or bulky too. You can easily use it with one hand, and it fits comfortably in the pocket. The build quality is excellent. It has some water and dust resistance, with an IP53 rating and a rubber seal around the SIM tray.
Display
The Redmi Note 13 Pro has a stunning display, one of its main selling points. The 6.67-inch OLED panel has a high resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels and a smooth refresh rate of 120Hz. It also has a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus layer to resist scratches and drops better than any other glass.
The display is very bright, reaching up to 1800 nits, so you can see it clearly even in sunny conditions. It also adapts to the surrounding light and adjusts the brightness accordingly. Another thing we like is the high touch sampling rate of 480Hz, which makes the screen very responsive to touch.
Hardware and Performance
We checked how the Redmi Note 13 Pro performs, and we’re blown away by how fast and smooth it is. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor is a beast that handles anything we throw at it, from gaming to multitasking. The phone doesn’t overheat or drain the battery quickly, too.
The best part is you can customize the phone’s power according to your needs. We opted for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant, which gives us plenty of space and speed for apps and files. But, if you need more, you can always add a microSD card up to 1TB.
Cameras
The Redmi Note 13 Pro has blown us away with its amazing camera system. The back of the phone has four cameras, each with a different function. The main camera has a 200MP sensor, which captures stunning details and colors. We love using the macro lens to take close-up shots of flowers, insects, and other small objects.
The other cameras on the back are also impressive. The other cameras on the back are also impressive. There is the telephoto lens that can zoom in up to 50x and the ultrawide lens, which is perfect for group photos and scenic views. The depth sensor helps create a natural bokeh effect.
The front camera is also a winner! It has a 16MP sensor that takes beautiful selfies and video calls. It also has HDR support and can record 1080 videos.
Battery Life and Charging
One of the best features of the phone is its huge battery. The 5100mAh Li-Po battery can power the phone for a whole day, even with heavy use. You never have to worry about running out of juice, whether you’re playing games, switching between apps, or watching videos.
The device also has a 67W charger that fills up the battery from 0% to 100% in just 36 minutes. That’s faster than most of the other phones we’ve tried. Plus, it has a reverse charging feature, which you’ll find very useful for charging other devices with the phone.
Software
The Redmi Note 13 Pro runs on MIUI 14, which is smooth and enjoyable software. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and the ample memory and storage make the phone perform flawlessly. You can run any app or game without any lag or stutter.
The phone gives us the best of both worlds, as MIUI 14 has many customization and personalization options. It also works well with Google services and gets regular updates.
Should You Buy the Redmi Note 13 Pro?
The Redmi Note 13 Pro holds its own against some of the best flagships in the market. It has some unique features that we really appreciate and make it a standout in its segment. There’s the 200 MP main camera that takes amazing photos and the 67W wired charging that fully charges the phone in 36 minutes.
But what we really love are the 3.5 mm headphone jack and an IR blaster. These are features that are hard to find in other phones these days. The phone also has a sleek and premium design that feels solid and durable.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro is a phone that is worth buying if you are looking for a flagship-level performance at a fraction of the cost of other flagships.
