Design and Build Quality
I love the glossy finish of the Oppo Reno 11. It has a subtle glitter effect that changes color depending on how I hold it and how the lights hit it. The camera island on the back is what immediately caught my eye.
The Reno 11 is slim and lightweight. It does not feel bulky or heavy in my pocket or purse. I can also easily carry it with one hand. Using the phone is a breeze, thanks to the well-placed and easy-to-reach buttons.
The phone comes in Wave Green, Rock Grey, and Starry Night. I personally prefer the Rock Grey version. The only downside is the phone isn’t water-resistant, so you have to be extra careful not to get it wet.
Display
The Oppo Reno 11 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, which is one of the main attractions of the phone. The 120Hz refresh rate makes everything look smooth and fast. I can scroll, swipe, and play games without any lag or stutter.
The screen is also protected by Asahi Glass AGC DT-Star2 protection, which makes it resistant to scratches and drops. And the oleophobic coating keeps it clean from fingerprints and smudges.
Hardware and Performance
The Oppo Reno 11 has a powerful Mediatek Dimensity 7050 processor that can run causal games or apps smoothly. It comes with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
The phone may be one of the best in its price and price range. I have the 12GB/256GB version, which gives me plenty of space and speed for multitasking and storing my files.
Cameras
I love the triple camera setup on the back of the Reno 11. The main camera has a Sony LYT600 sensor and takes amazing photos in any light. The 32MP telephoto camera lets me zoom in on my subject without losing clarity.
There’s also the 32MP selfie camera on the front. Selfies aren’t really my thing, but this baby can make you look good in every shot.
Battery Life and Charging
You don’t have to worry about running out of battery with the Reno 11. The 5000mAh battery usually lasts me a whole day of moderate to heavy usage. And when I need to charge it, I can do it in just 35 minutes with the 67W fast-wired charger.
The battery life of the Reno 11 is impressive, with an average screen-on time of about 8 hours. It also has reverse-wired charging, which means you can use it to charge other devices with a USB-C cable.
Software
The Oppo Reno 11 runs on ColorOS 14, which is Oppo’s custom skin based on Android 14. I like the sleek and minimalist design of the ColorOS 14. It makes the phone look elegant and modern.
The software gives me a comfortable and enjoyable user experience. I can easily navigate and customize the phone.
Should You Buy the OPPO Reno11?
I have The Oppo Reno 11, and I’m very happy with it. It has premium features like a sleek and elegant design, powerful hardware performance, and a superb camera. It also has a good battery life and intuitive software.
I don’t mind the drawbacks, like the absence of a microSD card slot and a relatively high price, because, for me, the phone is worth it. If you’re looking for a 5G phone with premium features, you’ll love the Oppo Reno 11, too.
But if you’re a little tight on the budget, you should go for Xiaomi 13T. It’s an equally great phone for a lower price.
